We are glad to announce a major upgrade for BMX which is the deployment of Gnosis Safe and timelock. This will help to provide a more secured and decentralized governance for BMX community.
Gnosis Safe is the most trusted and viable platform to manage digital assets with their state-of-the-art multi-signature feature for DAOs and teams. A timelock is a smart contract that delays function calls of another smart contract after a predetermined amount of time has passed, which provides BMX team and DAO sufficient time to evaluate the risk of any significant transaction.

The admin of the Timelock deployment is 0x53e5FE23807489F5FE1e07f11A464f04A79F9e82, which is a Gnosis Safe deployment.
Gnosis Safe contract is under the management of BMX core team and BMX DAO. Any transaction requires the confirmation of 2 out of 3 following signers:
